Recommend File Types for Print
The following file types for optimal printing are recommended, PDF,EPS,PSD CDR and AI source files. PDF's that can be modified, scaled, and broken up are required. PNG files with transparency are required unless otherwise noted. Jpegs and PNG FILES have to be at a 300dpi for maximum print quality. We will also print the requested job as is per clients request with no repercussion to the printer (LILYS PRINT SHOP). In attempt to secure your business we will check you files up to two (2) times before asking for compensation to do so. We have the ability to optimize requested print job at an additional cost to the client with in reason.
Recommded Color modes for printing (CMYK)
CMYK color modes are used to print on printable media, poste paper, vinyl banners, card stock and other print media. Colors may shift and not produce desired result. We will recommend color modes for files depending on job requested. We will also print the requested job as is per clients request with no repercussion to the printer (LILYS PRINT SHOP).
What does turnaround time mean and what is my turnaround for my project?
Turnaround time is the total duration (time) required to complete a process, from the moment a request is submitted until the task is fully completed. For example our turnaound time is 4-5 business days for business cards to be completed and handed to you the
client.
When does my project go into production?
Projects approved before 11am (PST) will go into production counting as a business day. Projects approved after 11am will go into production the following day. Please keep in mind, a digital proof or mock up will have to approved before going into production.
What is a Digital Proof or MockUp?
A digital proof is a high‑resolution electronic file that simulates the final appearance of a print project before mass production begins.
A print mockup is a realistic visual preview of a printed product that allows designers and sellers to see how their design will look before actual printing.
Please keep in mind that a Digital Proofs or Mockups is not 1:1 represenatation of the final product. Colors, sizes, smalll details and mary very due to the complexity of the design. However we do offer actual Physical proofs for some items but do require a fee.
